Greyter Installations

Vaughn, Ontario - Cecilia Catholic Elementary School

A combination Greywater Recycling and Rainwater Harvesting system for both toilet flushing and irrigation

The design includes two separate systems integrated to provide the most intelligent use of available reclaimed water and maximize efficiency depending on the available water and usage patterns.
Greywater is collected from hand sinks and water fountains in the central group of washrooms in the school and the rainwater is collected from the main roof section of the building and stored in tanks separate from the greywater storage tank.

Greywater is handled with the CGW- 6600 Commercial Greywater System while rainwater is collected in the RWH- 6600 Rainwater Harvesting system with extra storage tank (for a total of 13,200 litres of available storage).

A Rainwater Recycling system for toilet flushing

Two SGW systems ( SGW-1000 and SGW-2000) front ending a large rainwater storage tank. Each SGW services a different building with different needs (i.e quantity of toilets).  Sump type pumps are installed in the tank to pump the water to the SGW’s where it is chlorinated and then pumped to toilets. The SGW tanks are set up to be programmed in the field to maintain water at a high level to meet variable flushing demands.

The CGW storage tanks are buried under a loading dock ( due to space constraints and sized down project). This system was designed for a homeless shelter that has 8 floors and 4-8 “permanent” guests per day per floor. The system handles 200 to 300 daily occupants.
